Anushua Arif, MFT-LP
The therapeutic journey is not one to fix perceived damages but to rediscover the wholeness that has been there all along. I am dedicated to working with individuals, couples, and families dealing with anxiety, stress, and interpersonal conflicts to help them navigate life’s complexities.
As your therapist, I aim to collaborate with you to explore your inner world and partner with your best self to achieve deep healing and emotional growth.
As an immigrant, I use my knowledge of different cultures to integrate the unique blend of traditional Western education with holistic Eastern influences in my practice. I draw from Family Systems and Narrative Theory in my counseling sessions and incorporate mindfulness techniques, primarily through a strength-based approach.
Overall, I offer a warm and non-judgmental environment to assist those who want to learn more about themselves and question the life stories that no longer serve them.
Therapy is a portal that allows us access to parts of us that are seldom paid attention to and can enable us to become fuller versions of ourselves by granting us more knowledge and understanding. I would be honored to accompany you on this pivotal and life-altering journey, so please call or message me today to schedule your first appointment.
