Shayleen Ortiz, LMHC

I strive to create a safe, honest space, free of judgement and criticism, where I can help my clients walk their unique healing journey. I have experience working with individuals of all ages and from different cultural backgrounds, as well as those who identify as LGBTQ. I also work with couples and families. I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship concerns.

I take a holistic treatment approach and utilize an eclectic mix of modalities, including Mindfulness practices, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, and creative therapies. I trained at the Gestalt Institute and utilize the knowledge I learned there to help clients who have experienced severe trauma by helping them better understand how they relate to the world and how to live in the moment.

If you are stuck in trauma, depression, or anxiety, are struggling with relationships, or are held back by negative patterns, you don’t have to go through it alone. Take the next step and reach out today. Call or message to schedule your free phone consultation or arrange your first appointment.
