Katelyn Murphy, LCSW
I strive to create a welcoming, authentic, and relaxed environment where you can feel open and ready to talk through life’s challenges. I work with individuals and couples who are facing anxiety and depression, or problems in personal and professional relationships, or who are struggling to adjust to a life changing event or experience. I also work with people who are dealing with LGBTQ issues.
In our work together, I use an eclectic skill set, recognizing the individual needs of each client while respecting evidence-based frameworks. I use a person-centered approach to therapy, and leverage Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based interventions, as well as Attachment Theory and Solutions Focused Therapy.
My warm and authentic approach will help you to recognize and emphasize your strengths, and focus on your personal growth. By exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, I can help you to better cope with and respond to life’s difficulties. In therapy, you will learn new skills that help you to make intentional and informed choices that will enable you to achieve your goals. I encourage you to call or message our office today with any questions, or to schedule an appointment.
