Amy Muller, LMHC

I provide a safe and client-centered environment where you can feel heard and understood. Whether you are single or married, and whether you are undergoing anxiety, conflicts, low-self esteem, work stress, life transitions, dating issues, abuse, or trauma, I welcome you with compassion and support. My passion is to journey with you at your own pace as you heal from past and current emotional distress, so that you can succeed and thrive.

My application of integrative approaches, including Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Thearpy (CBT), and Mindfulness has helped my clients enhance communication skills and improve social dynamics in various settings. By developing healthy interpersonal and emotional boundaries, they are able to flourish and gain control of their lives. With an eclectic and holistic therapeutic orientation, I can bring culturally sensitive Adlerian Therapy and Family Systems therapy to increase awareness of stressors, negative thought patterns, and self-destructive behavior. At the same time, I help you adopt a more positive mindset that produces the desired changes that lead to a more fulfilling life.

In a fast-paced world, many people feel like they have to maintain a polished image but are hurting in silence. I provide a safe space where you can slow down and let your guard down. I offer you the opportunity to feel genuinely cared for, understood, listened to, and seen. No matter what you are experiencing, you will be met with kindness and patience. Client Testimonials

Amy Muller brings patience and kindness to every session. She has let me set the pace of our discussion, provided expertise on specific techniques & behaviors when I’ve asked, and has helped me identify the root of certain feelings. I feel safe and empowered in our sessions and highly recommend her.

27 y.o. Female, Project Manager

I’ve had several therapists over the years, but I didn’t feel like I could really open up in a therapy session until working with Amy. Her genuine interest and desire to help made it easy to relax and share whatever I felt like sharing, without ever feeling like she was prying or giving me false assurances. Having someone like Amy to talk to made a huge difference for me during a difficult time.

26 y.o. Female, Actor/Writer

Over the past seven years I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety. I’ve also dealt with issues communicating and setting boundaries with my family and loved ones. I’ve seen a few different therapists but none of them have helped me the way Amy has. In the months that I’ve been seeing her I’ve become much happier, less anxious, and a better communicator with my family. I could not recommend her enough.
